BACKGROUND:
San Mateo County Parks Foundation: The San Mateo County Parks Foundation ("Parks Foundation") was established to provide additional financial support for the recreational, environmental, and educational programs and projects of the San Mateo County Parks Department ("Department").

Mounted Patrol of San Mateo County: The Mounted Patrol of San Mateo County ("Mounted Patrol") is an equestrian organization that provides search and rescue volunteer services and donations to the Department for several County parks, including Edgewood, Huddart, Wunderlich, Pescadero, Sam McDonald, and San Pedro Valley.

The Friends of Huddart and Wunderlich Parks: The Friends of Huddart and Wunderlich Parks ("The Friends") is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the local environment and historic legacies of both Huddart Park and Wunderlich Park. The Friends are a combination of volunteers, donors, paid staff, and board members that collaborate with County Parks Department staff to preserve and protect the resources found at Huddart Park and Wunderlich Park.
