Adopt a resolution authorizing an amendment to the agreement with Caminar, Inc. for housing and housing-related mental health services, case management, rehabilitation services, and mental health services through the Mental Health Plan, extending the term of the agreement through June 30, 2019, and increasing the amount by $15,865,116 to an amount not to exceed $23,470,724.

BACKGROUND:
On June 21, 2016, your Board approved an agreement with Caminar, Inc. (Caminar) to provide community-based services to individuals with serious mental illnesses, focusing on maximizing wellness and recovery opportunities for adults with mental, physical, and developmental disabilities, for the term July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017, in the amount of $7,605,608.
On January 1, 2017, Family & Children's Services merged with Caminar and now operates as a division of Caminar. Through this merger, Caminar will provide mental health services through the Mental Health Plan. Prior to the merger, Family & Children's Services provided mental health services to San Mateo County clients under the Mental Health Plan.
Under the B-1 Administrative Memorandum, housing and housing-related mental health services are exempt from the County Request for Proposals process.
