Adopt a resolution:
A) Certifying the Initial Study / Mitigated Negative Declaration, dated March 2019, for the Memorial Park Wastewater Treatment Facilities Improvement Project; and
B) Authorizing the Director of Public Works to proceed with preparing the plans and specifications for the Memorial Park Wastewater Treatment Facilities Improvement Project (WWTP); and
C) Authorizing the Director of Public Works to proceed with advertising for bids on the Memorial Park Wastewater Treatment Facilities Improvement Project (WWTP) and reporting back to this Board with recommendations on awarding a contract.

BACKGROUND:
On January 10, 2017, your Board adopted Resolution No. 074982 which authorized an agreement with Hydroscience Engineers, Inc. to provide services that included: condition assessment of existing wastewater infrastructure, field surveys, geotechnical investigation, environmental analysis and permitting (California Environmental Quality Act compliance), feasibility study, conceptual design, preparation of construction plans, specifications and cost estimates for bidding purposes, and construction management and support for the Memorial Park Wastewater Treatment Facilities Improvement Project (Project).
DISCUSSION:
Memorial Park (Park) is a 673-acre park in San Mateo County, located at 9500 Pescadero Creek Road, Loma Mar, California. The Park has a year-round campground with 158 family camp sites organized into camp areas, day use areas, a visitor center, a camp store, and two youth camps (Homestead Youth Camp and Redwood Flat Youth Camp).
