Bullying remains a pervasive issue that affects the dignity and well-being of individuals, particularly youth. It manifests in various forms-physical, verbal, emotional, and cyber-undermining the safety and respect essential for a thriving community. The Board of Supervisors recognizes that bullying can have lasting impacts on mental health, academic performance, and social engagement.

 

San Mateo County is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where every individual feels safe and valued, regardless of their background. This resolution emphasizes our commitment to addressing bullying through proactive measures, education, and community engagement for our youth.
