| | | | | The Board reconvened in open session at 10:20 a.m. with Supervisors Mueller, Gauthier, and Canepa being present and Supervisors Speier and Corzo being absent.
John Nibbelin, County Attorney provided the following report out of closed session. The Board voted on a 4-0 with Supervisor Corzo being absent to authorize the County to Initiate Litigation to challenge the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' interpretation of Federal Public Benefit for purposes of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996.
In addition, the Board took action in a prior closed session that was to authorize Initiation of Litigation to challenge the underpayment of VLF in lieu fees by the State of California.
