Adopt a resolution:
A) Establishing a "No Parking During Specified Hours from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Thursdays" zone on:
1. The northerly side of Gilman Drive beginning at the north end of the existing guardrail barrier 15 feet easterly of the Randall Court and Gilman Drive intersection and extending easterly on Gilman Drive a distance of 66 feet, more or less, in the unincorporated Broadmoor area; and
2. The southerly side of Gilman Drive beginning at the south end of the existing guardrail barrier 15 feet easterly of the Randall Court and Gilman Drive intersection and extending easterly on Gilman Drive a distance of 99 feet, more or less, in the unincorporated Broadmoor area; and
B) Establishing a "No Parking Anytime" zone on the east side of the existing guardrail 15 feet east of the Randall Court and Gilman Drive intersection and extending the entire length of the guardrail, in the unincorporated Broadmoor area.

BACKGROUND:
This Board has adopted similar resolutions regarding parking restrictions.
Section 22507, et seq. of the California Vehicle Code and Sections 7.30.010 and 7.32.010 of the San Mateo County Ordinance Code provide that local authorities may prohibit or restrict the stopping, parking or standing of vehicles by resolution or ordinance.
DISCUSSION:
