Subject: Amendment to the Agreement with Infor (US), LLC to Provide a Materials Management Information System

RECOMMENDATION:
title
Adopt a resolution authorizing an amendment to the agreement with Infor (US), LLC to provide a materials management information system and increase the amount of the agreement by $200,000 to an amount not to exceed $3,284,204.

body
BACKGROUND:
In January 2022, San Mateo Medical Center (SMMC) completed a Request for Proposals for a materials management information system (MMIS), and Infor (US), LLC (Infor) was chosen because of its innovative approach, as well as having the capability to interface with the SMMC's current and future Electronic Health Record.

In May 2023, SMMC and Infor entered into an agreement for the term of May 9, 2023, through May 8, 2028, in an amount not to exceed $3,084,204.

DISCUSSION:
As SMMC approaches the go-live date of this MMIS, SMMC discovered several training courses offered by Infor that can assist and guide multiple teams across SMMC to increase user adoption and capture the full value of Infor's system. This amendment will add workshop courses and increase the amount of the agreement by $200,000 to an amount not to exceed $3,284,204.

County Attorney has reviewed and approved the resolution and amendment as to form.

The resolution contains the County's standard provisions allowing amendment of the County fiscal obligations by a maximum of $25,000 (in aggregate).

It is anticipated that 100% of all supply orders will be managed through Infor and will meet all County financial guidelines for processing and paying a vendor.
