A) Jenny Skoble, Member At-Large for a second term; and

B) Lavinia Prema, Member At-Large for a first full term; and

C) Monika Lee, representing the Commission on Aging, for a first full term.

BACKGROUND:
The Housing and Community Development Committee (HCDC) makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors related to the expenditure of all housing and community development funds. The HCDC also reviews and provides a forum for public comment on affordable housing and community development needs and priorities related to the development of the Consolidated Plan and related Annual Action Plans.

DISCUSSION:
Jenny Skoble has served on the HCDC since June 2016 and is being recommended for a second full 4-year term. Lavinia Prema is being recommended to serve her first full 4-year term effective at the conclusion of her initial partial term ending on December 31, 2023. Monika Lee has served as the Commission on Aging representative since her initial term began in May 2022 and is being recommended for her first 4-year term. Upon approval of these reappointments, all appointees' terms will take effect January 1, 2024.

Jenny Skoble obtained a Juris Doctorate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York. She currently volunteers as a mediator at Community Boards in San Francisco, Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center in San Mateo and serves as Board Chair of Coastside Children's Programs in Half Moon Bay.
