Recommendation for appointments to the North Fair Oaks Community Council:
A) Kelly Parisi, representing Resident, for an initial partial term ending December 31, 2024; and
B) Mariela Peralta, representing Business, for an initial partial term ending December 31, 2025.

BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to resolution of the Board of Supervisors, the bylaws of the North Fair Oaks Community Council (NFOCC) have historically provided for nine voting adult members and one youth member and one youth member alternate.
DISCUSSION:
Kelly Parisi is being recommended to serve an existing partial term as a Resident representative ending December 31, 2024 on a seat vacated by Jennifer Ruiz who has resigned. Mariela Peralta is a Business representative who is being recommended to serve an existing partial term ending December, 31, 2025 on a seat formerly held by Beatriz Cerrillo who has also resigned.
Kelly Parisi, a communications and marketing strategist, has been active in the North Fair Oaks community since moving there in 2017. She has worked on community issues including the relocation of a recycling center and hosting community neighborhood events such as National Night Out.
Mariela Peralto is the owner of Cuco’s Burritos on Middlefield Road. She is proud of her Latinx heritage and that she is following in her parents’ footsteps as a restauranteur, and will bring insight as a small business owner to the Council.
