Adopt a resolution authorizing:
A) The President of the Board of Supervisors to execute a Fifth Amendment to the Lease Agreement with Dan and Linda Bortolotti, to amend the lease to allow County's extended occupancy through June 30, 2026, with an option for one additional term of two (2) years at a monthly rental of Ten Thousand Ninety-Seven Dollars ($10,097) with annual 4% increases; and
B) The County Executive, or their designee, to accept or execute notices, options and documents associated with the Agreement including, but not limited to, extension or termination of the agreement under the terms set forth therein.

BACKGROUND:
The Sheriff's Office has leased and operated the substation at 500 California Street in Moss Beach since July 1998. This Fifth Amendment will extend Sheriff's occupancy at the substation for an additional term of three (3) years with one (1) option to extend the term by two (2) years.
DISCUSSION:
Real Property Services has negotiated a monthly base rental amount of $10,097 for the 3,800 square foot Premises. The monthly rent amount does not include any utilities, data or janitorial. Commencing July 1, 2024, and every July 1st thereafter, the monthly rent will be subject to a 4% annual increase.
