BACKGROUND:
The Sheriff's Office has leased and operated the substation at 500 California Street in Moss Beach since July 1998. This Fifth Amendment will extend Sheriff's occupancy at the substation for an additional term of three (3) years with one (1) option to extend the term by two (2) years.

DISCUSSION:
Real Property Services has negotiated a monthly base rental amount of $10,097 for the 3,800 square foot Premises. The monthly rent amount does not include any utilities, data or janitorial. Commencing July 1, 2024, and every July 1st thereafter, the monthly rent will be subject to a 4% annual increase.
