Acting as the Governing Board of Commissioners for the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo, adopt a Resolution authorizing the Executive Director of the Housing Authority, or the Director's Designee, to execute agreements for the Provider-Based Assistance program for the term of July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2028, with Catholic Charities for an amount not to exceed $3,978,454; with Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse (CORA) for an amount not to exceed $2,481,561; with HIP Housing for an amount not to exceed $1,796,160; with Mental Health Association of San Mateo County for an amount not to exceed $3,658,750; with Oakbrook LLC for an amount not to exceed $2,774,915; and with Service League of San Mateo County for an amount not to exceed $475,625.

BACKGROUND:
On April 13, 2010, the Governing Board of Commissioners approved the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo ("HACSM") Moving To Work ("MTW") Annual Plan which contained an activity to design and implement a rental assistance program serving income-qualified members of populations in our community who either are not served or are underserved by HACSM's current programs due to unique qualifying circumstances.
The result of this activity was the creation of the Provider-Based Assistance ("PBA") program which allows HACSM to provide time-limited rental assistance, in conjunction with supportive services, to households served by local providers.
