A) Adopt a resolution authorizing a one-time grant to St. Francis Center of Redwood City to support the renovation of four (4) affordable housing units in an amount not to exceed $77,536, and authorizing the County Executive, or designee, to execute the agreement; and

BACKGROUND:
St. Francis Center of Redwood City ("Center") provides services to families in the North Fair Oaks neighborhood and surrounding areas, including affordable housing, education, a youth center with an afterschool program, immigration counseling, food, clothing, laundry and shower facilities, community gardens, vaccination clinics and special holiday programs. The Center owns a number of residential properties, including a multi-unit complex located at 115 Northumberland in unincorporated Redwood City, where it provides affordable housing to clients.

DISCUSSION:
The Center is in the process of renovating seven (7) housing units. Repairs include dry rot repair in the bathrooms, bathroom vanities, bathtubs, faucets, mirrors, ceramic tile, kitchen cabinets, countertops, windows, new stoves and refrigerators, and interior painting. The Center has raised funding for the renovation of three (3) of the units. This Measure K grant funding will pay for the renovations of the remaining four (4) housing units, located at 115 Northumberland....
