BACKGROUND:
The Project Development Unit (PDU) oversees multiple large capital projects which require substantial support from specialized consultants, including on-call project and construction managers responsible for managing design services, providing bidding assistance, developing construction management plans, overseeing construction, and performing other essential activities.

DISCUSSION:
Advanced Management and Consulting LLC (AMC) has provided excellent service on several large PDU projects including the County Parking Structure 2, Lathrop House Relocation, Skylonda Fire Station 58, and the San Mateo Medical Center Renovation Project. Based on their continued positive performance, staff recommends the County continue to work with AMC.

By executing an amendment to the AMC Agreement, the contract value will increase by $400,000 for a revised not to exceed amount of $1,500,000 to cover the duration and cost of anticipated work for current projects.

The resolution contains the County's standard provisions allowing amendment of the County fiscal obligations by a maximum of $25,000 (in aggregate).

County Attorney has reviewed and approved the resolution and amendment as to form.
