Acting as the Governing Board of the Los Trancos County Maintenance District, adopt a resolution authorizing an amendment to the agreement between the County of San Mateo and the Woodside Fire Protection District for Enhanced Fire Protection Services for the communities of Los Trancos Woods and Vista Verde, increasing the amount payable by $108,770 for a revised not-to-exceed amount of $588,770, and extending the term of the agreement for one additional year through June 30, 2023.

BACKGROUND:
The Los Trancos County Maintenance District (District) was formed on October 1, 2015 as the successor agency to the Los Trancos County Water District (LTCWD). The District's identified purposes are for enhanced fire safety and enhanced storm drainage and road improvements. Through this process, the County of San Mateo (County) agreed to work closely with a locally formed Community Advisory Council (CAC) to establish work plans that suit the needs of the community. The Woodside Fire Protection District (WFPD) services this area and has in-depth knowledge of historical fire protection programs within the area. Through the LTCWD dissolution and District formation process, the original budget identified in the LAFCO dissolution document identified 33 percent of the District budget would be allocated to enhanced fire protection services, which has been accomplished through agreements with the WFPD since 2016. The remaining property tax revenue was identified as being allocated to support enhanced storm drainage and road improvements.
