body
BACKGROUND:
In 2019, the Sheriff's Office entered into an agreement with Crime Scene Cleaners for the provision of decontamination services to limit the spread of COVID-19. Services include cleaning and disinfecting the correctional facilities, employee workstations, and blood drying cabinets in the Sheriff's Office property and evidence room. To limit the spread of COVID-19, the Sheriff's Office has increased the use of Crime Scene Cleaners services, primarily to decontaminate its correctional facilities and workspaces in various Sheriff's Office Bureaus, thereby resulting in the need to increase the amount authorized to be expended under this agreement.

The resolution and agreement have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney.

FISCAL IMPACT:
This amendment will increase the amount authorized to be expended under this agreement by $20,000, to an amount not to exceed $218,899. Funding ...
