body

BACKGROUND:

The Coastside Design Review Committee (CDRC) reviews new development proposals to ensure that they are compatible with the physical setting of the site and the visual character of the communities of Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, Miramar, and Princeton.  The Committee reviews development applications for compliance with specific site planning and architectural standards developed for the area.  In Summer 2018, the CDRC initiated on-going discussions through Special Open Study Session meetings for the purpose of updating the current Design Standards for the Midcoast.

DISCUSSION:

Doug Machado began serving on the CDRC as an Alternate El Granada representative in February 2017. Upon approval of this appointment, Doug will be serving as the El Granada community representative, a seat formerly held by Chris Johnson who is no longer on the CDRC.

Doug is a longtime professional in the Midcoast and larger Bay Area construction and development industry.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.
