body

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION:

This Board is authorized to accept new sanitary sewer facilities constructed by private developers for operation and maintenance by said District.

GoldSilverIsland Properties, LLC (Developer) has paid the costs associated with the engineering and construction of approximately 131 linear feet of sanitary sewer main in the public right-of-way of Beresford Avenue within the District. The work was completed in accordance with the approved plans and has been inspected and approved by the District. Developer has executed an Offer of Dedication of Sewer Main Extension for operation and maintenance of the sewer facilities, which serve 9 Miller Court and 575 Beresford Avenue within the District.

County Counsel has reviewed and approved the Offer of Dedication of Sewer Main Extension and approved the resolution as to form.

FISCAL IMPACT:

The cost of operation and maintenance of the facilities being offered for dedication will be a District expense and will be funded through the annual sewer service charges levied on properties receiving sewer service from the District, which has been set for $985 for FY 2021-2022.

There is no impact to the General Fund.
