Adopt a resolution:
A) Adopting the plans and specifications, including conformance with prevailing wage scale requirements, for the Coyote Point Marina 2022 Maintenance Dredging and Pile Replacement Project in the Coyote Point Recreation Area; and
B) Authorizing the Director of Public Works to call for sealed bids to be received by Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 2:30pm at the office of the County Manager/Clerk of the Board of Supervisors; and
C) Authorizing the Director of Public Works to extend the call for bids and bid opening up to 60 calendar days beyond the time and date originally set forth by the Board of Supervisors.

BACKGROUND:
The Coyote Point Marina (Marina) periodically requires maintenance dredging due to siltation of its channels and berths from San Francisco Bay's tidal action. Previous maintenance dredging in 2006, 2010, and 2017, included the Marina's main channel, most of the secondary channels used by tenants to access boat slips, and specific boat slips. Since the completion of those dredging episodes, new siltation has occurred that is once again affecting navigation in portions of the Marina.
On January 8, 2021, this Board approved a contract with Anchor QEA to provide consultant services to prepare plans and specifications and to secure permits to dredge areas of the Marina. Both the Public Works Department and Parks Department have reviewed and approved the design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the Coyote Point Marina 2022 Maintenance Dredging and Pile Replacement Project (Project).
