Adopt a resolution authorizing:
A) The County Manager, or designee, to execute an Easement Deed (“Easement”) granting an easement of approximately 315 square feet to PG&E on the property located at 2200 Broadway, in the City of Redwood City (“Property”); and
B) The County Manager, or designee, to execute any notices, consents, approvals, or other documents in connection with the Easement.

BACKGROUND:
The County of San Mateo (“County”), through a third-party entity, is constructing a new facility (Carriage House) on the Property. In order to provide power to service the structure, a new transformer needs to be installed by PG&E. The Easement gives PG&E the rights to access, install, maintain, and repair the new transformer on the Property, and more particularly described in the Easement. The easement area being granted is approximately 315 square feet to PG&E on the property located at 2200 Broadway, in the City of Redwood City (“Property”).
DISCUSSION:
PG&E prepared the Easement Deed using their required, standard easement document. County Counsel has reviewed the Easement documents and the resolution as to form.
The County Manager’s Office/Real Property Division and Public Works concur with the transaction.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no compensation by either party associated with this transaction.
