Recommendation for the appointment of Nancy Steiger to the Coastside Design Review Committee, representing Miramar Community member, for an initial term ending March 31, 2024.

BACKGROUND:
The Coastside Design Review Committee (CDRC) reviews new development proposals to ensure that they are compatible with the physical setting of the site and the visual character of the communities of Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, Miramar, and Princeton. The Committee reviews development applications for compliance with specific site planning and architectural standards developed for the area. In Summer 2018, the CDRC initiated on-going discussions through Special Open Study Session meetings for the purpose of updating the current Design Standards for the Midcoast.
DISCUSSION:
Nancy Steiger is a resident of Miramar and is being recommended for the vacant Miramar Community member position.
Nancy has professional experience in Hospital Administration, including at San Mateo Medical Center from 2002-2007, and she has served on various nonprofit boards. Nancy is semi-retired and spends some of her time coaching and consulting. She is seeking a volunteer opportunity with the Coastside Design Review Committee.
