Recommendation for an appointment and reappointments to the Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention Commission:
A) Johanna L. Rasmussen, appointment for an initial partial term ending December 31, 2022; and
B) Austin Willis, appointment for an initial partial term ending December 31, 2022; and
C) Antoinette Barrack, reappointment for a first full term ending December 31, 2024; and
D) Monroe Labouisse, reappointment for a first full term ending December 31, 2024; and
E) Susan Swope, reappointment for a third term ending December 31, 2024; and
F) Melissa Wilson, reappointment for a second full term ending December 31, 2024.

BACKGROUND:
For the efficient and effective statutory compliance of the review of juvenile operations in this county, the Court and the Board have agreed that the appointees by the Court to the Juvenile Justice Commission are appointed concurrently by the Board of Supervisors to the Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention Commission.
DISCUSSION:
With the recommendation of the Juvenile Judge Susan Irene Etezadi, Presiding Judge Jonathan E. Karesh has appointed Johanna L. Rasmussen and Austin Willis to the Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention Commission for the term prescribed by law. Their term will expire on December 31, 2022. This is a request that the Board of Supervisors reappoint the above-listed commissioner to the Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention Commission.
Johanna Rasmussen is being recommended for appointment of a partial term due to the resignation of Valerie Gibbs mid-term.
Austin Willis is being recommend for appointment of a partial term due to the resignation of Michele Gustafson, who resigned in August 2020.
