Recommendation for the appointments of Supervisor Don Horsley and Supervisor David Canepa to an ad hoc Board of Supervisors committee for the purposes of reviewing plans, receiving updates, and making recommendations to the full Board regarding the Wildfire and Fuel Reduction Program.

BACKGROUND:
Following a special study session of the Board of Supervisors on Oct. 14 identifying the need for a comprehensive Wildfire Fuel Reduction Program, the creation of an ad hoc committee was suggested in order to effectively analyze and develop further the concept and implementation of this program. Supervisors Don Horsley and Supervisor David Canepa agreed to serve on this committee, should it be approved by the Board of Supervisors.
