Honor the Clerk of the Board Team as Team of the Month for July 2020 and authorize the President of the Board to sign the commendations.

BACKGROUND:
The Team of the Month program was established in September 2018 to recognize and honor County teams who consistently demonstrate an outstanding level of performance.
Our Team of the Month for July 2020 is the Clerk of the Board in the County Manager’s Office. Team members include: Sukhmani Purewal and Sherry Golestan.
DISCUSSION:
Sukhmani Purewal and Sherry Golestan have truly gone above and beyond in their service to the public. They have played an essential role in supporting all virtual Board of Supervisors meetings since the actions necessary to comply with the Shelter in Place orders during these past three months. In addition to both being technical whizzes and supporting everyone to use Zoom effectively, they epitomize respectful engagement with the public, exemplary service to constituents and County colleagues, and flexibility, graciousness, adaptive, agile leadership in the many ways they enable the County to best serve the public.
The work to protect the public's health and work toward longer and better lives for everyone in San Mateo County would not have been possible without Sukhi and Sherry's leadership and support. Their excellence enables us to advance so many aspects of our work.
San Mateo County is fortunate to have the Clerk of the Board Team staff as an outstanding team in the County.
