BACKGROUND:
Measure K is the half-cent general sales tax initially approved by San Mateo County voters in November 2012 and extended in November 2016 for a total of 30 years.

On December 13, 2016, the Board approved these recommended Measure K allocations for FY 2017-19. On June 6, 2017, and June 5, 2018, the Board approved contracts for: Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, Inc.; Daly City Peninsula Partnership Collaborative (DCPPC); Edgewood Center for Children and Families; Institute on Aging (IOA); and Ombudsman Services of San Mateo County, Inc. for the term July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2018, under Resolution 075222 and for the term July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019, under Resolution 075920.

On February 12, 2019, the Board of Supervisors, as recommended by staff, approved continuing funding for these ongoing Measure K initiatives for FY 2019-21 under Resolution 076562.

DISCUSSION:
San Mateo County Health requests that the Board adopt a resolution authorizing the Chief of San Mateo County Health or her designee to execute agreements to continue the following Measure K-funded services through the providers listed below.
