Recommendation for the appointment of Cynthia Foti to the Coastside Design Review Committee, representing Miramar Community representative, for an initial partial term ending March 31, 2021.

BACKGROUND:
The Coastside Design Review Committee reviews new development proposals to ensure that they are compatible with the physical setting of the site and the visual character of the communities of Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, Miramar, and Princeton. The Committee reviews development applications for compliance with specific site planning and architectural standards developed for the area. In Summer 2018, the CDRC initiated on-going discussions through Special Open Study Session meetings for the purpose of updating the current Design Standards for the Midcoast.
DISCUSSION:
Cynthia Foti has over twenty years of design experience in New York and California. She also has an interest in volunteering in the Miramar and Half Moon Bay communities. Cynthia’s involvement on the Coastside Design Review Committee will allow her to apply her skills in the community.
