BACKGROUND:

The Department of Parks is completing a project for a new visitor center and restroom facilities at Sanchez Adobe Park, located at 1000B Linda Mar Boulevard.  The project requires the installation of a new 600 AMP meter, transformer, and pad by Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) to provide service to the site. Approval of this request will allow the contractor to complete their portion of the project and facilitate completion of the Sanchez Adobe Visitor Center.

DISCUSSION:

Real Property Services has reviewed the Pacifica Gas & Electric easement deed for a 12-foot wide utility easement to be granted to PG&E.

County Counsel has reviewed and approved the Resolution and Deed as to form.  The Director of Parks concurs in this recommendation.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no fiscal impact. Staff costs for the transaction are paid for out of the current Department of Parks budget.
