Adopt a resolution waiving the Request for Proposals process and authorizing:
A) The Parks Director to execute an agreement with the San Mateo County Parks Foundation for fundraising and outreach services that support Parks Department programs and projects for the term of July 9, 2019 through June 30, 2021, in an amount not to exceed $150,000; and
B) The Parks Director, or her designee, to execute amendments to the agreement to modify the County's maximum fiscal obligation by no more than $25,000, and/or modify the agreement's terms and/or services, so long as the modified terms and/or services is/are within the current or revised fiscal provisions.

BACKGROUND:
The San Mateo County Parks Foundation ("Foundation") supports the San Mateo County Parks Department ("Department") by raising funds for programs and projects that promote the Department's strategic plan goals of community engagement, environmental literacy, stewardship, and creating healthy communities through use of County parks. The Foundation, which was established in 1998, is a 501(c)(3) organization and has a mission to inspire people to care for, learn about, and enjoy San Mateo County parks.
DISCUSSION:
Several core Department programs and projects have benefited from the Foundation's on-going support, including Bicycle Sunday, the Kite Festival, the Volunteer Program, and the Memorial Park Ranger Station Upgrade Project.
