BACKGROUND:
The Easy Access, Inc. Information and Data Management System stores and processes the ownership and valuation data from which the Assessor produces the annual assessment rolls for secured and unsecured properties within the county. The system also serves the functions of the County Controller and County Tax Collector in the administration of the property tax - the primary revenue sources for county and local governing bodies.

DISCUSSION:
The agreement with Easy Access, Inc. is expiring on June 30, 2019. Continuance of the Easy Access, Inc. maintenance and support services agreement ensures the Assessor's current production system is in place while the Department develops and transitions to the Assessor Property Assessment System over the next three to five-year period.

The resolution contains the County's standard provisions allowing amendments of the County's fiscal obligations by a maximum of $25,000 (in aggregate).

County Counsel has reviewed and approved the resolution as to form.
