Recommendation for appointments to the Agricultural Advisory Committee:
A) Judith Humburg, appointment representing Public member for an initial partial term ending June 30, 2021; and
B) Peter Marchi, appointment representing Farmer member for an initial partial term ending June 30, 2021; and
C) Natalie Sare, appointment representing Farmer member for an initial partial term ending June 30, 2022; and
D) Cynthia Duenas, appointment representing Public member for an initial partial term ending June 31, 2021.

BACKGROUND:
The Agricultural Advisory Committee actively assists in the preservation of agriculture throughout San Mateo County through advice and recommendation to the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors.
DISCUSSION:
Judith Humburg was initially appointed to the Agricultural Advisory Committee on July 10, 2018 representing Farmer member. Based on her qualifications and the Committee's interest, she is being recommended to vacate her seat as a Farmer and be appointed to represent the Public member seat.
Peter Marchi is being recommended to fill a Farmer seat that was vacated mid-term. Peter is a member of the Farm Bureau Board and very involved in his community as a coach for youth sports. Peter has over 40 years of experience farming and enjoys helping the community with his agricultural experience.
Natalie Sare is being recommended to fill the Farmer seat vacated mid-term by Judith Humburg, who is being recommended to fill the Public seat based on her qualifications. Natalie is a third generation farmer and agricultural business owner on the San Mateo County Coastside.
