In addition, each year 2,000 children have been placed in preschool; 1,200 children have been enrolled in summer camps; and 2,000 families have participated in the Raising-A-Reader literacy intervention workshop. The SCVF is the lead agency administering The Big Lift Program in San Mateo County.
