BACKGROUND:
Contract security guard services have been used by San Mateo County at various locations since 1993. These services are currently utilized at the Hall of Justice, Courts, Coyote Point Marina, San Carlos Airport, Youth Services Center, Human Services Agency, Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, and the San Mateo Medical Center. The existing contract for security guard services will expire on January 31, 2019. San Mateo County has the option of extending the contract for two additional years.
