Recommendation for the reappointment of Supervisor David J. Canepa representing the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, to the California Identification System (CAL-ID), for a term commencing January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019.

BACKGROUND:
The California Identification System (CAL-ID) determines the placement of Random Access Network (RAN) equipment within the County and to coordinate acceptance, delivery and installation. Develop procedures necessary to regulate the use and maintenance of the equipment, adhering to the policy guidelines and procedures adopted by the State Department of Justice.
DISCUSSION:
Supervisor David J. Canepa requests reappointment to CAL-ID. He has served on CAL-ID since January 2017 during a partial term which was vacated at the end of Supervisor Adrienne Tisser’s term on the Board of Supervisors.
