BACKGROUND:
On December 12, 2018, your Board approved an agreement with Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center (PCRC) to be the lead and fiscal agency for the community-based partnership to provide alcohol and other drug (AOD) prevention services and provide community capacity building, community education and awareness, asset building strategies for youth and families, environmental prevention efforts in the central Community Service Area (CSA), and Parent Project classes.

DISCUSSION:
PCRC will continue to be the lead and fiscal agency for the community-based partnership by providing AOD related prevention services in the central CSA and continuing to reduce access to and availability of alcohol and other drugs to youth.

In addition, PCRC shall facilitate four twelve-week community-led Parent Project classes where parents learn skills and receive information about resources and other supports available in their communities.
