Acting as the Governing Board of the Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance District, adopt a resolution authorizing:

A) An amendment to the agreement for transmission of sanitary sewage by and between the Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance District and the Town of Woodside; and

B) An amendment to the agreement for sanitary sewerage treatment capacity rights and services by and between the Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance District, the Town of Woodside, and the City of Redwood City.

BACKGROUND:
On August 7, 2001 your Board authorized the two agreements referenced above. The agreements are applicable to the Town Center Sewer Assessment District (TCSAD), which is located within the Town of Woodside (Town). These agreements must be amended if parcels are added to the TCSAD to provide for the transmission of sanitary sewage from the parcel and the treatment thereof. The City of Redwood City (City) has provided the TCSAD use of their treatment capacity and facilities for transmission of sewage as stipulated by one of the agreements. The agreements specify the compensation requirements for the Town to the Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance District (FOSMD) and City.

Your Board authorized seven similar amendments to allow sewer connections of other properties with failing septic systems to the TCSAD.

DISCUSSION:
