BACKGROUND:
In March 2018, the City/County Association of Governments (C/CAG) announced a call for projects for the San Mateo County Lifeline Transportation Program (LTP) Cycle 5. This program is designed to help low-income residents by funding transportation initiatives that will improve their mobility within the community. The grant is offered by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) through C/CAG.

DISCUSSION:
San Mateo County Human Services Agency (HSA) has been participating in the LTP since 2012. The existing LTP grant will expire on June 30, 2018. HSA is requesting the Board approve its participation in the LTP through authorization of the resolution submitted by C/CAG. This resolution is required by C/CAG as part of the LTP grant application process.
