BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The County has conducted a nationwide recruitment for the position of Human Resource Director. Ms. Kiryczun has been nominated by the County Manager as the best candidate for this position based on 26 years of experience with the County, including thirteen years with our Human Resource Department. Within the Human Resources Department, Ms. Kiryczun has served as the Financial Services Manager and Administrative Services Manager, and, for the last five years, as Deputy Director
The Charter requires the Board of Supervisors to confirm appointments of department heads nominated by the County Manager.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Ms. Kiryczun’s annual salary will be $187,366.40.
