BACKGROUND:
The Agricultural Advisory Committee actively assists in the preservation of agriculture throughout San Mateo County through advice and recommendation to the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors.
DISCUSSION:
David Rosen currently resides in Half Moon Bay and brings over 15 years of experience as a marketing leader. He has expressed his appreciation for the role agriculture plays on the coastside and is interested in maintaining its importance.
This appointment contributes to the 2025 Shared Vision statement of a Collaborative Community. Our diverse population works well together to build strong communities, effective government and a prosperous economy, civic engagement - including voting, public service, charitable giving, volunteerism, and participation in public discussions of important issues - is uniformly high among the diverse population of San Mateo County.
