Acting as the Governing Board of the Belmont Highway Lighting District, adopt a resolution authorizing:
A) The President of the Board of Supervisors to execute an agreement between the City of Belmont and Belmont Highway Lighting District for the design and construction of the Old County Road Streetlight Improvements Project; and
B) The County Manager, or his designee, to execute amendments to the agreement between the City of Belmont and Belmont Highway Lighting District (Old County Road Streetlight Improvements Project) with any additions, clarifications and other changes as the County Manager, or his designee, deems necessary or advisable after consultation with County Counsel.

BACKGROUND:
On July 27, 2004, your Board adopted Resolution No. 066812 establishing the "Underground Utility District - Old County Road - Belmont Area" (UUD) on a portion of Old County Road in the Harbor Industrial Area. Establishing the UUD was done in conjunction with and is adjacent to undergrounding work the City of Belmont (City) had planned. The limits of the City/County undergrounding work includes Old County Road from the Belmont City limit north of Sterling View Avenue to approximately the County limit south of Harbor Boulevard. The work includes removing the existing overhead utility lines and poles and replacing them with underground utility systems. The overhead facilities are owned by PG&E, Comcast, AT&T, and the County's Belmont Highway Lighting District (Lighting District).
