BACKGROUND:
On June 21, 2016, your Board approved an agreement with Jefferson Union High School District for mental health services, in the amount of $250,192, for the term July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2018.

On March 27, 2017, the Chief of the Health System approved an amendment to the agreement adding a document translation vetting process, increasing the amount by $5,000 to $255,192, with no change to the agreement term.

On June 22, 2017, BHRS issued a Request for Proposals for community-based partnerships to provide AOD substance use prevention services. Community-based partnerships sustain effective AOD prevention efforts in the County's six geographic community service areas (CSAs) as identified by BHRS: 1) Northwest CSA: Daly City, Pacifica, and Colma; 2) Northeast CSA: Brisbane, South San Francisco, San Bruno and Millbrae; 3) Coastside CSA: Half Moon Bay, La Honda, and Pescadero; 4) Central CSA: Burlingame, Hillsborough, San Mateo, Foster City and Belmont; 5) South CSA: San Carlos, Redwood City, Woodside, Atherton, West Menlo Park, and Portola Valley; and 6) East Palo Alto CSA: East Menlo Park and East Palo Alto.
