Recommendation for the reappointment of Hamid Hekmat to the Bayside Design Review Committee, representing Architect, for a term ending March 31, 2020.

BACKGROUND:
The Bayside Design Review Committee reviews building permit applications in the design review areas. The Committee reviews all applications for compliance with specific site planning and architectural standards developed for the area.
DISCUSSION:
Hamid Hekmat has served on the Bayside Design Review Committee since October 7, 2014 and is seeking a second term.
This reappointment contributes to the 2025 Shared Vision statement of a Collaborative Community. Our diverse population works well together to build strong communities, effective government and a prosperous economy, civic engagement - including voting, public service, charitable giving, volunteerism, and participation in public discussions of important issues - is uniformly high among the diverse population of San Mateo County.
