B)                     Doniga Markegard, representing Farmer, for a term ending June 30, 2021; and

 

C)                     Robert Marsh, representing Farmer, for a term ending June 30, 2021; and

 

D)                     Brenda Bonner, representing Public, for term ending June 30, 2021.

BACKGROUND:

The Agricultural Advisory Committee actively assists in the preservation of agricultural throughout San Mateo County through advice and recommendation to the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors.

 

DISCUSSION:

BJ Burns has been a member of the board since 2009 (excluding service prior to term limit), and is seeking reappointment for a consecutive third four-year term.

 

Doniga Markegard has been a member of the board since 2013, and is seeking reappointment for a consecutive second four-year term. 

 

Robert Marsh has been a member of the board since 2009 (excluding service prior to term limit), and is seeking reappointment for a consecutive third four-year term. 

 

Brenda Bonner has been a member of the board since 2013, and is seeking reappointment for a consecutive second four-year term.   

 

These reappointments contribute to the 2025 Shared Vision statement of a Collaborative Community. Our diverse population works well together to build strong communities, effective government and prosperous economy, and civic engagement - including voting, public service, charitable giving, volunteerism, and participation in public discussion of important issues - is uniformly high among the diverse population of San Mateo County.
