Approve an Appropriation Transfer Request (ATR) in the amount of $1,900,145 accepting unanticipated revenues from Non-Departmental Services to fund the initial 18 months of a 40-month agreement with Peregrine Technologies, Inc. for participating law enforcement agencies.

BACKGROUND:
Peregrine Technologies, Inc. (Peregrine) is a U.S. based provider of law enforcement and public safety software that consolidates data from multiple disparate sources into a single, integrated platform. The system offers interactive tools, including generative AI capabilities, that enable users to efficiently search, analyze, and visualize data in support of real time decision making and interagency collaboration.
Peregrine is widely used by public safety agencies across the Bay Area. The County's use of the platform will support the development and operation of the Real-Time Crime/Intelligence Center and enhance regional collaboration efforts aimed at improving public safety outcomes.
DISCUSSION:
On January 27, 2026 the Board approved an agreement between the County and Peregrine Technologies, Inc. (Resolution No. 081628) for the term of January 31, 2026 through July 31, 2027, in an amount not to exceed $3,386,218.
The Sheriff's Office has received an initiative from the County Executive's Office to fund the first 18 months of a 40-month agreement with Peregrine for participating law enforcement agencies.
