Adopt a resolution:
A) Adopting plans and specifications, including conformance with prevailing wage scale requirements, for the Ferdinand Avenue Drainage Improvement Project in the El Granada Area; and
B) Authorizing the Director of Public Works to call for sealed proposals to be received by Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., in the office of the County Executive Officer/Clerk of the Board of Supervisors; and
C) Authorizing the Director of Public Works to extend the call for bids and bid opening up to sixty (60) calendar days beyond the time and date originally set forth by the Board of Supervisors.

BACKGROUND:
On November 20, 1990, this Board adopted Ordinance No. 03277 which is codified in Chapter 2.53 of the San Mateo County Ordinance Code and provides for Mitigation Fees to be calculated, assessed, and collected for remodel or reconstruction projects from applicants at the time a building permit is issued. This Board adopted Ordinance No. 03988 on August 22, 2000, which allows for Mitigation Fees to be used to finance roadway reconstruction or drainage improvement projects within defined areas of benefit in which the fee was collected. The MidCoast is a defined area of benefit. This Board adopted Ordinance No. 04461 on February 10, 2009, which clarified that the Mitigation Fees can be used for planning, design, and environmental review of reconstruction projects for existing roads and drainage facilities, and repaving of existing roads.
DISCUSSION:
