Recommendation for the appointment of Robert Fliegler to the Public Authority Advisory Committee, for an initial partial term ending December 31, 2027.

BACKGROUND:
The Public Authority Advisory Committee was established to meet and confer with the Public Authority about those aspects of the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Program that relate to home care providers. The Advisory Committee will focus primarily on issues relating to IHSS provider training and the maintenance of the IHSS Provider Registry.
DISCUSSION:
Robert Fliegler is being recommended to serve on a seat vacated by Gladys Pasiecznik in 2022.
Robert Fliegler has been an In-Home Support Services provider for over a decade and has intimate knowledge of the IHSS system in San Mateo County as well as the City and County of San Francisco. He cares for the elderly and his own developmentally disabled daughter. Robert has served on the Jefferson Union High School District (JUHSD) Bond Oversight Committee in Daly City and brings professional experience from his long career as a Senior Network Engineer.
