Recommendation for appointments to the Bayside Design Review Committee, each for an initial full term ending March 31, 2026:
A) Jessica Sin, representing Architect; and
B) Margaret Schumacher, representing Alternate Architect.

BACKGROUND:
The Bayside Design Review Committee reviews building permit applications in the design review areas. The Committee reviews all applications for compliance with specific site planning and architectural standards developed for the area.
DISCUSSION:
Jessica Sin is being recommended to serve as an Architect for a seat vacated by Hamid Hekmat at the end of his term due to traveling out of the area. Margaret Schumacher is being recommended for the vacant Alternate Architect seat. Each appointee will be serving a full three-year term ending March 31, 2026.
Jessica Sin is a California-licensed architect who has lived in San Mateo County for over a decade. She currently resides in Redwood City. Since 2016, Ms. Sin is owner and Principal Architect of JSD Architecture + Interiors in Redwood City.
Margaret Schumacher is a California-licensed architect and the owner of Oak View Designs in San Carlos since 2011. Her focus is on designed and managed architecture and interior design residential additions and new residential houses. Ms. Schumacher resides in San Carlos.
