Adopt a resolution authorizing the execution of an agreement with JobTrain, Inc. to provide programs and services to San Mateo County's incarcerated population, for the term of February 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $672,203.

BACKGROUND:
JobTrain, Inc. (JobTrain) has provided vocational training and educational programs to the San Mateo County incarcerated population for over a decade. Programs and services include but are not limited to the following: culinary and baking arts; hospitality; financial literacy; construction pre-apprenticeship; work readiness, career counseling, life skills; and re-entry coordination. JobTrain continues to be an integral part of the County's efforts to reduce recidivism for justice-involved individuals who are in custody.
DISCUSSION:
In the Fall of 2024, the Sheriff's Office issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for programs and services for the County's incarcerated population. JobTrain was selected to provide in-custody programs and services for San Mateo County's justice-involved population. The agreement reflects the first year of contracted services under the RFP.
