Adopt a resolution authorizing an amendment to the agreement with Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse (CORA) for domestic violence victim support services, extending the agreement three years through June 30, 2028 and adding $297,648 in funds, for a revised total amount not to exceed $496,080.

BACKGROUND:
Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse (CORA) supports a broad array of services for families and individuals who have experienced domestic violence which is critical to helping survivors maintain their safety and access resources to assist with their basic needs and wellbeing.
CORA provides unique services, expertise, and capacities in assisting victims of domestic violence including emergency shelter, 24/7 crisis hotline, legal service assistance, counseling, and community education.
On May 1, 2023, the Director of the Human Services Agency approved an agreement for domestic violence victim support services with CORA for the term of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2025 in the amount of $198,432. This agreement is funded solely by the Marriage License Trust Fund.
DISCUSSION:
The Human Services Agency (HSA) is requesting approval to amend this agreement by extending the term three years through June 30, 2028 and to add $297,648 in funding for the additional years.
CORA is the only agency in San Mateo County solely dedicated to serving survivors of domestic violence.
