BACKGROUND:
On June 24, 2025, the County entered into an agreement with Carahsoft Technology Corporation for the purpose of purchasing Salesforce.com products and services for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Assessment Appeals Board's Electronic Application System for the term July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027, in an amount not to exceed $209,156.26 (the "Agreement").

The County has previously amended the Agreement two times to include additional services which, in the aggregate, have increased the County's fiscal obligation by $2,907.77 for a current not-to-exceed amount of $212,064.03.

The County now wishes to amend the agreement a third time to add the required number of Community Plus and Lightening Plus Licenses for internal County staff use, increasing the County's maximum fiscal obligation by $106,557.60, for a new total amount not to exceed $318,621.63.

DISCUSSION:
Carahsoft Technology Corporation is the authorized entity to contract and provide Salesforce.com, Inc.'s products and services. These services are required for users to access the new Assessment Appeals Board Electronic Application System, which is scheduled to go live on June 1, 2026.
