Adopt a resolution:
Approving and adopting the Department of Housing Parking Policy for Stone Pine Cove, an affordable farmworker housing community located in the City of Half Moon Bay; and
Authorizing the Director of the Department of Housing, or the Director’s designee, to administer and enforce the Department of Housing Parking Policy through citation and/or towing, as authorized by applicable law, for violations of posted parking restrictions; and
Authorizing the Director of the Department of Housing, or the Director’s designee, to make administrative and non-substantive changes to the Department of Housing Parking Policy, including updates to parking designations, permits, procedures, and signage, consistent with Board authorization and as needed to comply with applicable law.

BACKGROUND:
Stone Pine Cove is a County-owned and controlled affordable farmworker housing community located at 830 Stone Pine Road in Half Moon Bay. Because on-site parking is limited, the Department of Housing needs clear rules to preserve parking for authorized users, maintain safe circulation, and ensure access for residents, guests, service providers, County staff, and emergency responders.
State law and local ordinances, including California Vehicle Code sections 21113 et seq., 22651, and 22651.3, together with applicable provisions of the San Mateo County Ordinance Code, authorize the County to restrict parking on County-controlled property and to cite or tow vehicles parked in violation of posted restrictions.
