Measure K: Adopt a resolution:
A) Authorizing a one-time grant of district-discretionary Measure K funds of $75,000 and a one-time grant of Measure K Reserves of $75,000 to the King's Mountain Volunteer Fire Brigade to support the purchase of a replacement rescue vehicle, providing an exception to the criteria to allow for up-front funding of the grant; and
B) Approving an Appropriation Transfer Request in the amount of $75,000 from Measure K Reserves to Non-Departmental Services to support the purchase of a replacement rescue vehicle.

BACKGROUND:
Measure K is the half-cent general sales tax initially approved by San Mateo County voters in November 2012 and extended in November 2016 for a total of thirty years.
The Board of Supervisors held study sessions on Measure K expenditures and approved funds for the fiscal year 2024-25 budget cycle, divided evenly among the five supervisorial districts, for one-time district-discretionary needs and projects. District 3 has submitted a request to use their district-discretionary Measure K funds as shown below and described in the Project Summary section of this memorandum:
